Our motto from day one has been, “get to the lodge by noon!” Two seaplane airlines provide 3 scheduled daily flights to Stuart Island from Seattle during peak season. With a 9am departure to Stuart Island from Seattle, the seaplane will dock at the lodge around 11:30am including a stop in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island to clear Canadian Customs. Other flights leave later in the day.

The first scheduled return flight back to Seattle departs the lodge at 1pm arriving at 3:30pm with U.S. Customs cleared at the seaplane dock. Two other return flights leave later in the day.

Nanook Lodge also has seaplane carriers in Vancouver and Campbell River BC should guests need to arrive from within Canada. Should you choose to drive/ferry to Vancouver Island, there is water taxi service to Stuart Island from Campbell River.

The Nanook Lodge reservation staff will assist you in making your travel arrangements. Seaplane charters are also available should you
want to travel according to your own schedule.

Everyone now needs a current passport to enter Canada!

If you are crossing a border by air, you must have a passport. If crossing by other than air, you must have photo ID plus one piece of ID that verifies citizenship (ie. birth certificate).
