What People Say About Us

Our Latest News

Summer Update!

We have been working hard after a long and cold winter around Stuart Island! After some upgrades and normal fix-up’s at Nanook the lodge is looking great!  Summer is just about here, the flowers are blooming and all the local flora and fauna are coming out!  All of the local animals are enjoying the warmer weather and local food supply in the forest and ocean. Our annual wildlife photography workshops will be a success this year with Eagles as our main focus, the local populatuion is defintely in the hundreds now. It was a bonus to see most all of the other wildlife as well, Humpback whales, Grizzly and Black bears, Sea Lions and one of our favorites the Pacific White Sided dolphin!! What an awesome show they gave us!!

Come join us at Nanook Lodge for some great wildlife viewing! While fishing or touring around the local island chain..
